having a direction to take

With a fiery passion, Dr. John McGee entered the world of loving and interacting with marginalized Individuals, especially those with most severe disabilities. His His life’s work and teachings entered the hearts of service providers across the globe, and challenged the status quo of institutionalized standards and solutions and practices of inhumane behavior modification approaches.

Since his passing in 2012, Gentle Teaching Connectors around the world continue in the direction of his footsteps… in the direction of Gentle Teaching.

“There is no single answer…only a direction we need to take.” -Dr. John McGee

Please consider sharing your stories with us. We are a learning community, growing through life, making the road by walking together in the direction of Gentle Teaching.
